Get involved!
There are a many ways in which you can contribute time, energy, and expertise. For example, you
can:
- Attend LSC meetings, to keep informed about what is happening and to participate in
discussions and school council business.
- Volunteer to represent LSC on any number of affiliated committees and bodies, including:
- OCASC (Ottawa-Carleton Assembly of School Councils)
- SEAC (Special Education Advisory Committee)
- SSC (Secondary Schools Committee
- Trustee Zone 10 meetings
- Lisgar Fund
- Lisgar Alumni Association
- Help to organize or just volunteer to help with traditional events, such as Doors Open Ottawa
and the Staff Appreciation Luncheon
- Serve on a subcommittee, such as the Elections Committee
